Abstract

In this review, we will examine recent findings in the field of undergraduate mathematics teaching. Our goal is to present some recommendations and accessible educational resources relevant to a wide range of pedagogical approaches. We will attempt to highlight the advantages and limitations of the lecture-based teaching method and review the importance of active and inquiry-based learning methods.

We will also describe several teaching techniques and practices that reflect easy tips for active student participation during class. These techniques help students engage more in the learning process and achieve a deeper understanding.

Finally, several reputable resources are introduced that readers can refer to for more information on methods and techniques for teaching mathematics. These resources include books, scholarly articles, and websites that offer practical strategies for creating a more active learning environment.
