Abstract

Fractals are irregular geometric shapes, functions, or concepts that exhibit specific patterns and properties within their apparent irregularity. Due to their unique irregularities, fractals are not easily analyzed using classical mathematical concepts. Therefore, one of the highly useful tools for studying and analyzing fractals is fractional dimensions. In this article, we introduce fractals, discuss their properties, and explore several important types of fractals. We delve into the concept of fractional dimensions, presenting various definitions and properties of fractional dimensions. We will see how fractional dimensions can be used to study and analyze fractals, leading to fascinating insights.
