In this note, with the help of the MathSciNet database as the electronic version of Mathematical Reviews (published by the American Mathematical Society) along with the electronic version of Zentralblatt Math (published by the European Mathematical Society), which are the largest databases for reviewing, abstracting, and indexing mathematical articles worldwide, we examine the status of mathematical journals in Iran and provide several suggestions for improving their quality.
